Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980. She's a singer/actress from the USA. The actress was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. She is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. She has Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen found her talent in entertainment at an early age. She was able to land her first part in the auditions for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell was contacted by an agent by her mother prior to the age 13 and she was subsequently hired as a model for newspapers and television commercials. Now, Bell also begins classes in acting for herself. Bell played a brief, uncredited part in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School, where she took part in both the music and drama club. She was cast as Dorothy in the school production that was The Wizard of Oz. Bell attended The Tisch School of the Arts where she studied Musical Theater at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. Bell completed her studies in 2001, decided to leave her studies at the university to play her role as Becky on Tom Sawyer. The is the year she made her first credited debut as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and her character was not shown in the credits sequence. Bell made an appearance on Broadway for the first time in The Crucible, a revival with Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
