Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini an entrepreneur. Her parents are Italian (from a paternal grandson), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda grew up living in the San Francisco Bay area, California, the youngest of four children. Acting became her passion when she was ten years old when she played a role as a singer in a school's annual Christmas production. The school continued to offer shows and also community theater. Linda was a student at Saint Francis High School, Mountain View in California. Her choice was from New York for theater and Los Angeles for film and TV after graduating. She decided to go to LA. Linda was chosen for her debut role on the series Bone Chillers (1996). Freaks and Geeks was the character that led to her breakthrough. Lily James is a stage name given to Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born on 5 April 1989. Her acting debut was with Just William in 2010, a British television show. Following her breakout performance as Lady Rose MacClare on the period drama Downton Abbey from 2012-2015 her debut role was in the movie fantasy Cinderella in 2015. James continued to play the role of the role of Countess Natasha Rostova for the television adaptation War & Peace (2016). Also, he appeared in Baby Driver (2017) and in the period television dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (18) and The Dig (2021), and in musicals Mamma Mia! And Here We Go again (2018) and Yesterday and Yesterday in 2019. Her portrayal of Pamela Anderson in the biographical show Pam & Tommy (2022) earned her nominations for the Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.
